PowerNet offers electrical engineering scholarships to students studying towards a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and are in their first professional year.

The three year scholarship covers course fees and provides vacation employment that satisfies the practical requirements of the degree course. Preference is given to applicants who spent a substantial part of their youth in Southland or Otago.

Applications come via direct notification to engineering students at the University of Canterbury.
