Trainee System Controller

We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet team in the exciting and rewarding role of Trainee System Controller based out of our Invercargill office.
In this role, you will be responsible for learning on the job to gain the competency with our System Control operations to operate the networks effectively and reliably.
Experience/Knowledge and Skills:
• New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply Level 3
• A minimum 5 years’ experience within the electricity supply industry or infrastructure industry
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Understanding and knowledge of the SCADA system
• Strong telephone skills
• Able to make decisions competently
