Peter Moynihan

After completing his Lincoln degree Peter embarked on a 33-year banking career where he was running Westpac’s South Island Agribusiness team managing over $5 billion of lending. Peter left banking in June 2021. Peter has interests in three Central Southland Dairy Farming businesses and milks around 1900 cows.

Peter is the chair of the boards of Lakeland Network Ltd, OtagoNet Joint Venture governing committee and The Power Company Ltd. He is chair of the PowerNet Health, Safety and Environment committee. He is a director of PowerNet Ltd and was previously the deputy chair of PowerNet Ltd.

He is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
