PowerNet's Board of Directors
There are eight Directors on the PowerNet Board. This is comprised of directors from the shareholding boards. Five Directors are appointed by The Power Company Limited and three are appointed by Electricity Invercargill Limited. The Chair and Deputy Chair are appointed on a three-year rotational basis, alternating between each shareholder.

Bob joined the PowerNet Ltd board in 2020. He has been appointed to PowerNet’s Health, Safety and Environment committee.
Peter is deputy chair of PowerNet Ltd, a board director of The Power Company Ltd. His comprehensive understanding of balance sheets, trading performance, risk and how strategy and strategy implementation is vital for this industry.
Christopher is a director on the board of PowerNet Ltd, he has a Bachelor Engineering (Heavy Current), he has a strong background in asset management, risk management, strategic thought and future energies.
Duncan is a director on the boards of PowerNet Ltd and The Power Company Ltd. He is chairs of the OtagoNet Joint Venture governing committee, Lakeland Network Ltd and the PowerNet Audit and Risk committee. He is a director on the Southern Generation GP Ltd Board.
Doug is a director on the boards of PowerNet Ltd, Lakeland Network Ltd and is chair of The Power Company Ltd, he is also member of the OtagoNet Joint Venture governing committee. Doug has a wealth of Governance, regional and industry experience and has contributed to the Groups strategic direction and growth.
Paul is a director on the boards of PowerNet Ltd and Electricity Invercargill Ltd, he brings strong financial management skills, risk management and assurance.
Wayne is a director on the boards of PowerNet Ltd and The Power Company Ltd, he has extensive industry knowledge through his experience leading an electricity network and related directorships.
Don is a director on the boards of PowerNet Ltd, The Power Company Ltd and Lakeland Network Ltd. He is also a member of the OtagoNet Joint Venture governing committee. He retired from the role of PowerNet Limited chair in December 2021.
