Robert (Bob) Taylor

Bob has over 45 years of strategic, business, operational management and field services delivery experience in the electricity supply industry across the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Bob is deputy of the PowerNet board and the Network Management Agreements Working Group. He is also a director of PowerNet’s Audit & Risk Committee and Health, Safety and Environment Committee.

Bob was President of the Electricity Engineers’ Association (EEA) for four years and served 18 years on the EEA Safety Strategy and Policy Group, including six years as chair. He is also chair of the National Committee on Live Work. He received the Association’s Meritorious Service Award for his contribution to industry leadership.

Bob is an industry consultant specialising in operational processes and productivity improvement. He has also represented the industry as an expert witness as part of industry investigations.
