Anton Booyzen

Anton is the General Manager Asset Management at PowerNet, having moved to Invercargill from Aurora Energy, Dunedin. He brings vast asset management, engineering management and power quality experience to PowerNet. 

Anton occupied leading positions, including within City Power Johannesburg in South Africa, and for Tanesco, managing the electricity distribution networks in Tanzania. As a consultant, he led the Energy teams for two global consulting companies. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Electricity Engineers Association of New Zealand.
