We are experiencing strong winds across Southland with some customers experiencing power interruptions today.
PowerNet staff are working as safely and quickly as possible to restore the electricity supply to those affected. The safety and well-being of our employees and the community are our first priorities when working on restoring electricity to the networks we manage.
With the current strong wind conditions it is possible that some of our customers will be without power for an extended period of time.
